Prison visitors must wear bras
A new policy at an Indiana prison requires that all female visitors wear a bra and are no longer allowed to wear revealing tops.
Disallowed clothing includes sleeveless dresses and shirts, see-through garmets, revealing dressed, shorts cut higher than 2 inches above the knee, and spandex and “extrememly tight fitting” jeans.
Two women turned away last month because of low-cut spaghetti strap shirts came back wearing hooded sweatshirts. They were turned away again as hooded sweatshirts are also not allowed on visitors because they can conceal contraband.
