No Way! Virginity tied to lower STD rates

According to Heritage Foundation researchers Robert Rector and Kirk A. Johnson teenagers who take a virginity pledge are less likely to get STDs.

While the idea of a virginity pledge is a good one, my guess is most teenagers don’t take it seriously which led to the study earlier in the year that these pledges really had no effect on STD rates. I think in this case it’s more an issue of the teens taking the pledge seriously than anything else.
