Ever been pulled over for driving well?
Police in Austin, Texas, will be pulling over drivers who are driving safely as part of a baseball ticket giveaway. The local minor league team, the Round Rock Express, donated tickets to the cause.
Not that I wouldn’t appreciate the free tickets, but I don’t see pulling somebody over as a good way to give them out. How about just jotting down the license plates and mailing the tickets along with a friendly letter? I’m waiting for the news where somebody decides to run and gets into a high speed pursuit because the officers were trying to give them baseball tickets.
