Woman hires hit man for some cheese
A Tennessee woman is in trouble after hiring a hitman to try and rob and kill 4 men over what she thought was a block of cocaine. It was a block of cheese.
Jessica Sandy Booth was arrested on 4 charges of attempted murder and 4 counts of soliciting a murder. Last week Booth was in the home of the 4 victims when she saw a block of queso fresco cheese, which she mistook for cocaine. Her plan was to hire a hitman to break into the house, steal the drugs, and kill the men.
A meeting was arranged between Booth and an undercover police officer by an informant. The officer gave Booth non-functioning handguns and ammunition, which she was too young to buy.
Together the pair went to the house, under police supervision of course.
While only planning on having the 4 men killed, Booth told the officer that any children old enough to testify would also have to be killed.
After Booth was arrested, the house was searched with permission of the owners. All the police found was a block of crumbly, white cheese.
