Thumbs off in Las Vegas?
Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman has a suggestion for curbing the graffiti in his city - cut off the thumbs of those found guilty on television.
Goodman, on a TV show earlier this month, “I’m saying maybe you put them on TV and cut off a thumb. That may be the right thing to do.” He also suggested that whippings and cainings for children who cause trouble.
“I’m dead serious”, added Goodman. “Some of these (children) don’t learn. You have to teach them a lesson and this is coming from a criminal defense lawyer.” Adding, “The would get a trial first.”
