Secret Service investigating high school yearbook
About 100 yearbooks had to be edited with a black marker after a caption catches the attention of the secret service.
On May 6, about 100 yearbooks were distributed to the students in WideField, Colorado. One student complained that a caption was inappropriate - “most likely to assassinate President Bush.” Students were asked to return their yearbooks and staff members covered up the caption with markers.
District officials claim that it was just a student prank not caught before printing; but the Secret Service says they must investigate all threats against the president, “That’s what we do.”
