Nice to see a good driver in a high speed chase

Just because you’re running from to police doesn’t mean you have to be an inconsiderate driver. Oliver Pearson was arrested this week after leading police on a chase. During the entire chase he never went about 70mph and signaled his turns.

No plastic surgery for pets in Hollywood

Hollywood mayor John Duran introduced a motion yesterday that would prohibit surgical procedures from being performed on pets for “noncurative” reasons. This includes ear cropping, tail docking, debarking, and defanging. Apparently some pet owners are having surgeries performed to make pets match better to their “taste”.

Gertrude Walton is the latest victim of the RIAA in their quest to catch music pirates. Sure, everyone has an excuse when the RIAA knocks on their door; but Ms. Walton has a really, really good one. She died last December.

Cops setting up speed trap get parking ticket

I guess police aren’t immune from getting tickets. An officer was setting a radar trap and parked his car on the wrong side of the road. A fellow officer came up and gave him a parking ticket.

Mercedes-Benz is now offering ‘leather-free’ versions of its cars. This in a move spearheaded by PETA claiming that thousands of cows are slaughtered each year for leather car seats.
