Outsourcing gone too far!

A McDonald’s resaurant in Hermiston, Oregon, is outsourcing its drive-through lane. When a driver places an order they will be talking with an operator in Grand Forks, North Dakota, almost 1,400 miles away.

The reason: the minimum wage in Oregon is $7.25 compared to $5.15 in North Dakota.

It would not be much of a stretch in the technology to have the drive-through operator outside of the United States.

But it begs the question: who is making the burger?
