Every good software developer knows that they need to test their program. But, how many really read all the text that their program displays.
Intuit really should have. They mistakenly put an 800 number to a sex talk line in place of an ordering service for their tax software. When TurboTax Business customers get to a point where the software requires more than a single state package, a dialog comes up explaining to the user how to order more states. But the number is for Intimate Encounters, not Intuit. Instead of paying $30 for additional states, the caller is asked to spend 99 cents a minute to talk with these “girls waiting to talk with you.”
Intuit acknowleges the mistake in the knowledge base and gives the correct number.
