OK I KNOW THE GIRL TOOO I ALSO KNOW HER BABIES FATHER THERE ISNT A DOUBT IN MY MIND THAT SHE KILLED HER SON….SHE DIDNT LIKE HIM FOR HER OWN REASONS, SHE TREATED JORDAN AS AN OUTKAST AN SHE HAS CHANGED HER STORY MANY TIMES TO MANY DIFFERNT PPL.AND AS FOR KAMDENS STATMENT BEING COACHED ….HOW COME HE GAVE THE JUDGE THE SAME STATEMENT HE GAVE THE POLICE THOSE MANY YEARS AGO…? WHO DUCT TAPES THEIR 3 YEAR OLD WHILE THEIR SLEEPING SO THEY DONT HURT THEMSELVES THATS WHAT BABY GATES ARE FOR…COME ON DO THE CRIME DO THE TIME…WHERE IS JUSTICE AT FOR JORDAN???

I know Candice and i know that she is not that kind of girl to do such bad things to her children. every time i saw her she was always loving and taking good
care her boys but her mother is the one I would worry about she was a very hateful demanding person and this all happend when candice moved back to her moms home.
Tricia you shouldn’t say, or mean, things like that unless you know. what goes around comes around!

I have followed this trial from the very beginning and I know first hand that this girl was not given a fair trial. Any thing that the defence tried to enter in to the trial was denied. For instance her attorney tried to remove the death penalty jury and the judge refused to allow this. the reason being, a death penalty jury would be quicker to prosecute then a non death penalty jury. another is the attorney attemped to have the trial outside of the county for obvious reasons. Another is the fact that the mother of Candice was called to the stand and she excerised her 5th amendment rights because she was on parole and didnt want to incriminate herself (the defence was offering proof that it was her and not candice) The judge would not allow the jury to know this valuable information. Also the attorney tried to stop her 6 year old child from testifying (he was 4 at the time.) It was so obvious that his story was coached that even the media picked up on it. I listened while the the DA asked him questions and his responses sound as if they were coming from an adult. When the defence started to questione him, he turned back into a child. (uncoached) there are so many more things that I felt was unfair in he case (to many to mention) another thing is there was a time that the investigator for the defence even got a confession from the mother of Candice and since the mother wouldnt get on the stand to testify, he wouldnt allow the investigator to get on the stand and tell of her confession. My biggest question is why… I know that she is appealing the decision of the jury. I hope that she gets it and gets a judge that isnt as bias as this past one. to be continued…

Someone Who Cares:

I am sorry to hear about your loss. Your story demonstrates the importance of the principle that all accused persons are to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Proof of guilt is not to be found on the television or in the newspapers, or in the local coffee shop - it’s found in the courtroom, by the judge and by the jury.

If our judicial system did not accept the “innocent until proven guilty” principle, we wouldn’t have a judicial system - we’d have the Inquisition, where the accused must defend any allegations made against him.

Here’s to hoping there are more people out there who believe in Justice.

I am glad to see that there is someone out there that believes in justice. I know that everyone has heard about people being sentenced to death over a crime they didnt commit. I have seen a lot of news on it lately. Once someone has been killed for a crime they didnt commit, you cant take back that sentence if it is found out later that they were not guilty. I am sorry tricia, But I do believe that it is people like you that make that happen as often as it does. I am sure that you do not know this girl. you only know what you have seen from the news and already you are ready to see her pay. thank God!! there are still some people out there with some sense. I lost a little girl to S.I.D.S. and immediately the news made it look as if there was some foul play involved. If it wasnt for an autopsy, My wife and I could have been condemed to death by the media and your point of view. Becareful what you say, you could some day be placed in a situation where you have to defend your innocents!!

Wow. So much for innocent until proven guilty, tricia. Perhaps you haven’t been keeping up with the news on the trial, but it hasn’t yet been established that the defendant is culpable for the death of her son. In fact, some evidence seems to point to the defendant’s mother, Lois - grandmother of the deceased child.

Staying informed is a good thing.

Yes I think that should have that child taken from her as well to keep it from being in harms way.I don,t think she should be able to give birth ever agian they should make her get her tubes tied or somebody should abuse her to the point of death.
