Would be robber locks his keys in the getaway car
Another helpful tip for would-be robbery: don’t lock your keys in the getaway vehicle. This is just what Dan Griggs did.
Griggs went into a Indiana convenience store with the intent to rob it. When he got back to his car, he realized that his car was locked with the keys inside. To make the story even better, the convenience store is right across from the police station.
Griggs used a broom to break a window on his car as police dispatchers watched. After a quick pursuit, Griggs crashed into a police car and was arrested.
