French police are idiots
Four days after planting explosives in an unsuspecting passenger’s luggage, the French police still have not found them.
The mobile-phone-sized package of explosives was planted as part of training exercise for bomb sniffing dogs. During the self titled “error of surveillance” the bag went down a conveyor belt. It was during an estimated 10 seconds of not paying attention.
An estimated 90 planes took off from the international airport between 5 and 7pm, and the explosives are assumed to be on one of them. Several flew into the United States.
So far, no passenger has reported finding explosives in their suitcase.
My question is this: why would they plant it in a suitcase tagged to get on a plane. The dogs can’t read. They can’t tell if the bag has a tag to go to Cleveland, or just a duffel bag that’s not scheduled to go anywhere.
