What not to bring when bailing out a friend
A man and woman get points for going to bail a friend out of jail. They lose their points for what they brought with them.
Milford, Conn., police arrested Robert Amato and Valerie Lawler early Monday morning. The two drove to the Milford police station to bail out a friend of Lawler’s. When she opened her door a crack pipe fell onto the ground, in front of a police officer. A search of the car turned up a bag of cocaine.
The beauty of this story: Amato and Lawler were not at the correct police station. Their friend had been transfered to a nearby town where he had outstanding warrants.
