Don’t joke around with your mother, pothead!
Two Nebraska men are arrested after playing a joke on one of their mothers.
A 22-year-old man walked into a La Vista, Nebraska, gas station and told the clerk that he had a gun. The clerk was his mother, and it was intended as a joke. But, the other customer in the store did not understand; and he called the police. When the police arrived, they smelled marijuana. The clerk’s son and a friend of his were arrested on possession of a quarter-pound of pot.
Both men are on parole and face prison time if convicted. One of the men called his girlfriend and asked her to tell police that the pot was hers; which she did. The girlfriend was arrested on a charge of false reporting with evidence from the recorded phone call.
