Tip to bank robbers: don’t use your deposit slip for the note

A 23-year-old Florida man faces charges after trying to rob a back with a note written on the back of a deposit slip. The key, it was his deposit slip. His name, address, and phone number were printed on it.

Brice D. Wright handed a bank teller a note demanding money. The note was written on the first piece of paper his companion, Anna C. Pretty, could find. It was Wright’s deposit slip. The “criminal masterminds” left with an undisclosed amount of money, but without the note.

The pair then left for Kentucky and allegedly robbed another bank in Lexington before boarding a bus back to Florida. Clearwater, Florida and Kentucky police were waiting for the couple at the bus station when they arrived.

Both also have a history of drug arrests.

According to the Clearwater Police, “essentially, he [Wright] left all his personal information there at the scene of the crime. And he should go to jail for that, if nothing else.”
