Woman uses $200 bill, and the cashier accepted it!

Which is worse; a woman trying to pass a $200 bill with George Bush on the front, or a cashier accepting it?

In Greensburg, PA charges were dropped against Deborah L Trautwine for trying to pass a $200 bill to pay for clothing at a Fashion Bug store. Last August Trautwine used the bill to buy clothing costing just under $100. The clerk accepted the bill and gave Trautwine $100.58 in change.

Trautwine claims through her attorney that she was not aware that the bill was not legal currency. The charges were dropped after she paid the store in real money.

The front bill had a picture of George W Bush and the serial number DUBYA4U2001. The back showed a picture of the White House with signs in the yard “We like broccoli” and “USA deserves a tax cut.”
